Replaced with GM factory purchased 327 - 325 HP Special Hi-Performance engine package that was offered in 67. Removed and still have the original matching numbers 283 engine unrestored. Garage kept and driven as passenger car until 76 when I decided to "do a little clean-up on the motor." Twenty years later, project finished in 96. Purchased new in 67 by close friend and I acquired/begged for it in 69. This pristine 67 Chevelle El Camino has been in my ownership since 1969. Any questions feel free to message me or call me direct. I personally don't like the exhaust setup, and it has some small exhaust leaks, but it works and looks cool.
1972 EL CAMINO SS FOR SALE NEAR ME DRIVERS
Bad: clear coat sucks and is peeling, there's a rust hole in the door jam on driverside and drivers door has bad rust (but I have a replacement door). No frame rot, bed is solid, as are the floors, body is very straight! I'm sure I'm forgetting a bunch. I have most of the receipts but there's at least 10k into it. All extra parts where in at one point and the Camino ran 13.2 in the 1/4 mile, but was removed to be more street friendly. I have a folder of receipts, books, catalogs, and all booklets for everything! I Also have extra go fast stuff that can go with it if the price is right : 4.11 Richmond gears, bigger 24lb injectors, corvette trans servo. Block has fresh rebuild, heads have work done, custom stepper cam, 58mm throttle body, side pipes, 10 bolt rear, 700r4 trans with 4th gear lock out, cobalt gauges, ladder bar suspension, coil overs, rear disc brakes, 3:73 gears, professional harness that was done right. Watch this video of the Camino! have an 86 El Camino with an 86 L98 350 tune port corvette motor.
